It is #NYFW!!!

The time is here, the time that I wish that I was in New York City with the all the amazing fashion shows going on around. Seriously, New York fashion week and MET gala are my most favorite fashion events. Why? you know that it's the holy grail of all our fashion addicts out there. There is something special about the feeling that you are sitting at your favorite designers live runway show that they worked on for months and there it is all being presented in 10-20 mins. Anyways, the fashion shows that I'm mostly looking forward to this year at NYFW 2014 are Zimmerman, Trina Turk, Rebecca Minkoff, Naeem Khan (He does amazing wonders), Tory Burch and many more exciting shows. The interesting one is always from the The Art Institute, they have very creative looks every year and so much inspiration to share from them. Since I'm here in Ohio going to college and having daily cycle of sleeping, college, studying and sleeping I will try to watch live shows if not I can always catch up on the Mercedes-Benz fashion week. Yesterday, Tadashi Shoji was marvelous with so many varieties in style and colors. I will soon share my favorite looks from NYFW soon this week. Happy Fashion Week divas!
Here are some of my favorites from Tasdashi Shoji from yesterday.

How to deal with procrastination?

Yes, you know what I'm asking here. We all have been there and and some of us have learned how to deal with it and most us... not quite. So, this summer I have basically been traveling and being lazy when I'm not traveling. Which is why I haven't been writing on blog. Not doing anything felt good then but not I feel guilty for wasting that much time I had in things that didn't do anything to me. I thought to myself that I couldn't be the only one who is getting lazy and procrastinates, right! right? right. Ok good. I did my research and got inspiration from many different places and people.

I'll to the point now, some ways discovered after long, long time are
1. The work you have comes first, I know its easy to do other fun things like watching tv or hanging our with our friends but make it your goal because it YOUR goal and its for your benefit. So tell yourself that you can't do other things until you finish your first high priority and extreme important thing. The following is what I saw on twitter from somebody's retweet but I lost the credits to the original person who tweeted this, It helped me and I hope it helps you.
"Break To-Do List to: (1) Urgent & Important (2) Non-Urgent & Important (3) Urgent & Non-Important (4) Non-Urgent & Non-Important" - unknown

2. Nobody can push you to start and finish your work better than yourself. So go ahead, tell yourself that you can do it and your first priorities comes first and then other things.

WORK HARD, PLAY HARD.

Lush goodness!

So recently I got into Lush mania, basically I started to love lot of things from there and the smell when I walk into Lush. If you don't know what Lush is, it is store of handmade soaps and cosmetics mostly with natural products with very less chemicals. Something I loved from there recently is "Ro's Argan" it smells amazing and it is a body conditioner! My skin has never felt so smooth and the smell of roses is a bonus. I hope you give it a try and love it just as much as I did.

Miss Dior

My all time favorite handbag would be Miss Dior, I think it is the most classiest bag and also a timeless piece to have because it can never go out of style or trend. You can definitely wear it with any outfit and it would look flawless with it. I totally love anything Dior, wait correction.. I don't just love Dior, I live for Dior. Just look at Jennifer Lawrence adoring that Miss Dior classic blush pink bag in her hands. Of course they do in variety of sizes, colors and also shapes so you can always find unique pieces.

To the very courageous Malala!

Today's Inspiration:

Malala is a 16 year old girl who fought against taliban destroying schools and taking lives of children in school. Young malala took a bullet from taliban on her forehead, even though she struggled for her life on hospital bed and was flown out of country for treatment she never lost hope and courage to fight for education. She proved that pens are powerful than weapons by writing a book about her experience and one of my favorite quotes from her "guns can only kill people but pens can change lives". We are totally inspired by Malala to do something that you believe is right not only for ones own self but also for the society.

Fall/Winter Easy Look

For this fall and winter where the temperature is not settling for a particular type of clothing yet, layering is the best way to stay warm. The look below from mango is a classic inspiration for this time of the year, in this look the model layered a shirt and sweater on top and then a very warm jacket to finish the look. The collar of this jacket has removable fur collar and also can act as a scarf when this biker coat is zipped up. Overall I love this look because of the ease of layering with such a classic look.

Have a warm classic day! :)
